RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of technical tool concepts considering the project requirements such as deadline, budget and quality specifications. The focus will be on component analysis in the automotive sector.
• Selection of tools needed to machine a component, the design of special tools, cost and cycle time analysis.
• General topics such as project planning, holistic project implementation and internal communication.
• Use of MIS programs, such as SAP, CRM, PLM and CutView (program for calculation of production times and costs).
• Creating a database with the tool life for the different materials and different kind of tools as secondary subject.
• Monitoring and reporting of KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Student of a degree program such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering or another related study course with a technical focus.
• Advanced knowledge of the English language.
• Safe handling of common MS Office applications.
• Teamwork, independence and goal-oriented working methods.
