Senior Scientist (m/f/d) for the area LC/MS (full-time)

 
PROLYTIC GmbH is a scientific-technical service company based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, which focuses on biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies. Due to our highly qualified staff we are able as a team to guarantee exact results according to tight time schedules. We offer a wide range of analytical services in the fields of bioanalytics, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical analytics and RNA/DNA analytics, from preclinical and clinical development to the commercialisation of various drugs.

 

Job description:

• Support in scientific issues regarding designs, development and supervision of bioanalytical LC/MS methods for substance determination in biological matrices.
• Method development/validation of different substances for quantification in biological matrices by LC/MS
• Optimisation of chromatographic conditions for the separation of the analyte(s)
• Optimisation of sample pre-processing (by e.g. solid phase/liquid/liquid extraction/precipitation or with specially coated magnetic beads)
• Independent coordination, planning and supervision of projects
• Interface between the laboratory and the customer (project management)
• Test manager within the scope of GLP studies
• Data processing of the respective projects (evaluating results, writing reports)

Anforderungen

Requirements:

• Completed studies (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in natural sciences (biology, chemistry, biotechnology or similar) or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of HPLC-MS/MS (ideally with mass spectrometer from the company Sciex)
• Knowledge of analytics/bioanalytics
• Scientific curiosity - willing to try new things
• Fluent speaking, reading and writing in German and English
• At least 2 years of work experience
• Experience in working with a QA system (e.g. GLP) preferred
• Service-oriented thinking to meet the expectations/needs of research projects on time and with the appropriate level of quality
• High degree of personal responsibility and solution-oriented action
• Good computer skills (MS-Office)
• Reliability, determination and strong teamwork and communication skills
