Looking for a
Cloud Architect
for an insurance company. Role based in Germany, Munich. 

MUST BE AN EU CITIZEN

  • Terraform - HCL configuration language
  • Cloud Native Infrastructure Declarations (Json or yaml) - AWS Cloudformation and Azure
  • ARM Templates
  • AWS Lambda / Azure Functions - mainly Python language
  • Bash - shell scripting
  • Service Catalog and Control Tower
  • Powershell scripting (mainly for Azure environments)
  • Kubernetes based infrastructures (Openshift, native or managed)
  • Custom Linux network appliances: bind DNS, proxy, bastion hosts, openVPN, etc.
  • Jenkins - Groovy declarative pipeline language
  • Github - source control management / specific command set and UI
  • Cloud Native Devops toolset: AWS or Azure Devops (SCM, CICD, workflows, etc)
  • Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Linux/Windows - server system administration
  • Landing Zone Concepts: Pre-defined ‘Infrastructure as a code’ templates to launch complete environments. Leveraging Terraform and other IaC tools.
  • Immutable infrastructure
  • Automated builds and deployments (CI/CD)
  • Rolling deployments
  • Code review/testing
  • Contributes to the drawing up and management of the planning for preliminary analysis and design phase
  • Performs functional analysis of information systems and draws up the functional design after the pre-study
  • Develops new program requirements and specifications to support specific
  • customer needs and system upgrades and resolves problems with current systems
  • Helps business in realization of new business cases; coordinates preliminary studies
  • Identifies, researches, and analyses production problems, develops solutions, and resolves problems
  • Participates in project work, including analysis and requirements definition and testing
  • Identifies system enhancements, document business needs
  • At least 3 years of experience in complex AWS/Azure platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps activities, including designing and implementation for delivery pipelines
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g. HashiCorp tools)
  • Demonstrated experience with one popular public cloud provider, AWS, Azure or equivalent
  • Systems administration skills, including automation and orchestration (Linux/Windows)
  • Software development and/or automation in Python, Ruby, Go or any other modern language
  • Knowledge on and use of cloud platforms and associated technologies
