: TheFunctional Safety Lead
will be responsible for supporting the implementation of functional safety measures at project level in accordance with ISO 26262 and functional safety processes (e.g. technical safety concept) for both On-Road and Off-Road Vehicles from concept to launch.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- View any legal restrictions versus predecessor’s vehicles; working with partners internationally – specifically but not limited to Europe, America and Middle East.
- Data and documentation management; quality, safety management; a close working relationship with the Engineering Manager, Production, and Commercial team.
- Implement functional safety measures at project level in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Work with vehicle program teams to implement functional safety.
- Supporting the project teams in functional safety for vehicle systems (embedded software, hardware and mechanics) in the development process (ISO26262).
- Implementation and evaluation of safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, CPA, FFI, DFA).
- Participation in tool classification and qualification /Participation and support in Safety Assessments /Active participation in hardware and software design.
- Participation in test specifications as well as evaluation of the test results.
- Verification of security design and implementation of test specification.
- Report non-conforming regulatory issues to Senior Management
For the Functional Safety Lead, we are looking for:
- Strong technical undergraduate degree in automotive engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Functional Safety Development acc. ISO 26262, as well as in A-SPICE automotive development.
- Very good knowledge of safety analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, CPA, FFI, DFA).
- Significant experience in automotive Functional Safety Development acc. ISO 26262, as well as in A-SPICE automotive development.
- Experience with SOTIF is Safety Of The Intended Functionality — ISO/PAS 21448
- Strong time management, planning, integrity, and teambuilding skills.
