Your responsibilities

• In the role of Department Manager (f/m/d) IT Governance, Risks and Compliance, you are EMEA-wide responsible for all IT governance functions including IT Service Management, IT Audit & Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Master Data Governance, IT Controlling and IT Risk Management
• You lead the EMEA IT Governance team (incl. team members in the regions with dotted reporting lines) in a disciplinary and functional way (approx. 15 team members)
• Besides, you support the implementation of the strategic IT transformation program (IT strategy 2020) and consult the CIO in governance and strategic areas
• You lead projects to enhance existing or introduce new IT governance functions such as IT License Management and IT Sourcing
• Furthermore you define and implement IT organizational governance across IT-functions and measure overall IT effectivity and efficiency
• You monitor the progress of the IT strategy implementation (incl. KPIs & Business Case)
• You manage interfaces to other departments with overarching governance functions (such as Audit, Purchasing, Finance and Controlling)
• You align with global Olympus Headquarters as well as other regions on IT governance functions and joint projects

Your qualification

• Studies in the area of (business) computer science, information systems, medical technology, business administration, (industrial) engineering form the basis of your professional success, Ideally you have a doctoral degree or a Ph. D
• You have at least 7 years of relevant professional and management experience in the areas of IT functions from the internal corporate function or IT Management Consulting
• Besides you have proven experience and knowledge in the fields of IT Enterprise Architecture, IT sourcing and License Management, IT Performance Management and Controlling
• You have proven sound knowledge of the development and implementation of IT strategies and profound experience in the professional and responsible management of complex IT projects and establishment of IT SM structures
• You can demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization, including in English
• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills and a high degree of initiative, self-organization and assertiveness
• You have a confident appearance at management level combined with high empathy, conflict management and intercultural competence
• You have a high-performance claim coupled with hands-on mentality and pragmatism
• You enjoy working creatively in international teams
