Job Description Come and join MARS in Cologne or Verden (close to Bremen) as Financial Business Partner The main purpose of this role is to business partner the Verden/Cologne Senior Line Managers in all key financial decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, supporting and monitoring all activities. Working as part of broad cross-functional teams, this role is accountable for developing the full business model and providing transparency on financial shape, delivery and risks of each activity

Key Responsibilities

:

• business partner the site management teams * leads the development of the business model (p&l, capital spend) * provide financial advice to ensure sound financial and operational decisions * support strategy definition and implementation * develop and evaluate longer term strategies * provides visibility of the actual performance of the business unit * represents finance in cross-segment project groups * proactively collects underlying assumptions for the project business model from different functions and applies critical view on those assumptions to be able to deliver an accurate p&l * consolidates all inputs to produce a full p&l and provides transparency on the underlying assumptions and the key output kpis (volume, sales, incremental sale, margin) * evaluates the performance of the project post launch by comparing actuals to plan and recommends course corrections in case of gaps qualifications:
• university degree / bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field * robust s&f background - minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance roles * good understanding of supply or manufacturing * strong communication skills are essential * ideally sap and helios experience * fluent in english what you can expect from us:
