You’ll join more than 5,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem. YOUR TEAM
The Vehicle and Cloud Platform is composed of products like the VW.OS, the next generation of in-vehicle SW platform, or the VW Automotive Cloud, a cloud platform dedicated to automotive online services. Moreover, it covers enabling technologies like data collection and management, updateability and digital lifecycle management of all vehicle software, connectivity solutions and mobile online services.We develop the overarching data platform for vehicle data which is used for data driven product development in CARIAD and all brands of Volkswagen Group. With our unified data ecosystem, we empower our customers achieving value through outstanding data quality and performance. Therefore we offer vehicle data collections and sensor data ( e.g. camera, radar, gps data) from vehicles which we anonymize, before making it available for general consumption. We enable the data-driven development, perform data services and create data products that are used to improve all kinds of products. As team we support each other by sharing best practices, knowledge and experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be the one driving one of our data platform products, driving improvements, and creating a vision to work toward
- Ensure the alignment of solution scope, architecture, development and operation with key stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder requirements (partners departments, customers e. g. brands/ regions, supplier)
- Responsible for the functional and technical engineering of requirements as well as it´s documentation in an ASPICE compliant way
- Collaborate with legal and security departments for both, functional and nonfunctional requirements related to all products within our solution
- Deliver high-quality software within specified time and budget constraints
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable studies
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in development of complex software systems
- Profound knowledge in the development of cloud-based solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure), in modern DWH technologies (e.g. AWS Redshift/Snowflake) or Data Mesh is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in product development or similar area with focus on product launch, delivery and operation
- Experience in the area of requirements engineering and agile software development, ideally lean agile methods (SAFe, LeSS etc.)
- Analytical, problem-solving skills with proactive, confident and curious personality
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German language skills are a plus
