Hobson Prior are currently working with a multinational pharmaceutical organisation who are focused on making a positive impact on people’s lives every day by advancing and discovering innovative ways to treat challenging diseases. Our client is seeking a Senior Business Planning Analyst to join them on a contract basis in Germany.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop & present key metrics, conduct benchmarking analysis and financial reporting for GCO.
  • Set up study plans and maintain them in dialogue with Clinical Trial Managers to allow steering of studies at the study and portfolio level.
  • Implement and maintain monthly reporting processes and planning support for all of GCO, including all clinical trials – covering global as well as regional trials.
  • Recognise trends, advise management and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
  • Develop and manages processes that are effective and efficient.
  • Lead reporting & drive KPI reporting improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Outstanding analytical skills.
  • Capability to clearly communicate to all levels of an organization and to drive and enforce decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences (e.g. biology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals) or Business Degree with at least 5 years relevant experience.
  • Clinical Trial Management background would be preferable.
  • Expert experience with MS office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Business Warehouse or Project Management Systems (e.g. Planisware) is a plus.
