Your essential functions and responsibilities:
- Contrive and implement strategic marketing/sales plans and forecasts to achieve company objectives
- Process and manage marketing/sales operating budgets
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities
- Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term product value
- Drive marketing/sales P&L with the goal of continued topline growth as well as accelerated bottom line growth
- Ensure effective control of marketing and sales results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of objectives falls within designated budgets
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions
- Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and key strategic partners
- Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to upper management
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control marketing/sales teams
- Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
- Represent the company at congresses and meetings
Your required education and experience:
- Degree in marketing or business administration or equivalents
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in marketing and sales lead functions with documented track records, preferably with responsibilities for large and numerous product portfolios and sales lines, both for generic products as well as specialties
- Experience in marketing and sales of pharmaceutical specialties
- Cross-channel marketing and sales experience, especially proven exposure to new media, digital channels
- Routinely uses standard office equipment and programs (e.g. MS Office)
- Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written communications
