"Avionic System Engineering"
at the location Immenstaad or Ulm we are looking for a
"MAWS ASuW Architect (f/m/d) "
. The
"Avionic System Engineering"
department is responsible for the system design and development of cockpit systems, navigation and mission support systems, as well as the corresponding sensors for helicopters and airplanes. Your Tasks Your task is to participate in the MAWS Feasibility Study to define the system design. You will work together with customers, users and partners. The first 2 years of the project (~07/2020 - 06/2022) you will work directly with the consortium partner Thales on site near Paris. Focus is on the following topics:

• Definition and selection of relevant equipment/solutions for the ASuW needs to fulfill the MAWS overall mission * Work closely together with the other MAWS Architects on the definition of the MAWS System Architecture * Establish and maintain the required coordination and communication with the Engineering Support Teams / Domain Experts * Support the MBSE activities * Support the Chief Engineers on the Coordination Activities * Support the certification process definition Overall Goal:

Definition of the future MAWS System in order to enter the full scale development phase after the study.
