Manager Trade & Intellectual Property Policy (m/f/d) YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Global public affairs partner (m/f/d) for corporate and divisional functions relevant for Trade and IP Policy * Develop and implement global public policy strategies for trade and IP related issues of key relevance for Bayer * Build and maintain an external network with relevant experts/stakeholders/institutions on Trade and IP Policy and advance Bayer's pro-active stakeholder outreach * Partner with respective internal functions and divisions, advise on Trade and IP Policy and build-up respective internal community * Develop positions for key issues in the area of Trade and IP Policy and ensure preparation of senior leadership (e. G. briefings) and follow-up on engagements within the area of expertise * Anticipate future trends and ensure all relevant policy pressure points in the area of Trade and IP policy are captured in the corporate issue management * Support and guide countries and divisions efforts in Trade and IP Policy and respective stakeholder engagement * Ensure compliance with relevant key public policy positions WHO YOU ARE * University degree (preferably Master or above) or equivalent, notably honed with relevant long-term professional background preferably in Public & Governmental Affairs and Communications * Excellent and proven understanding of political and economic processes for the Life Science industry, stakeholder landscape, their interactions and relevance for Bayer * Demonstrate clear understanding of the business goals, objectives, plans and priorities of the company * Experienced in driving holistic policy and stakeholder engagement strategies * Strong communication and consulting skills as well as persuasiveness * Ability to build strong relationships and demonstrated leadership and influencing skills * Experienced in working in an international environment and ability to deal with cultural diversity * Role model (m/f/d) for the Bayer LIFE values * Team-oriented leadership skills honed through experience with senior management * Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken;German is a plus The location of the job holder (m/f/d) can be defined flexible, as this is a global role.
