Job Description The Performance Sensing Safety Business Unit has very substantial global growth plans. To support these plans we are looking for a Global Account Manager who is able to develop business through building and maintaining relationships in the automotive market in several business areas of our major accounts in Europe. The focuss of this role will be towards important system Tiers. Tier 1 / 2 development process know how and Tier engagement capabilities are thereofore important. * The Account Manager will provide dedicated and focused support to key customers at all levels and functions. * The Account Manager will own and deploy the customer specific strategy. * Work closely with major automotive component and systems suppliers to identify and win New Business Opportunities through close cooperation with internal colleagues. * Identification, assessment and closure of New Business Opportunities. * Build and expand relationships with potential customers and seek to

the company's current and future technology to customer's future products. * Curiously explore opportunities to expand/extend beyond current portfolio and technologies respectivevly. * Communicating pro-actively strategies and tactics to the customer and manage customer expectations. * Responsible for the commercial negotiations (e. G. value proposition) and technical communication with the customers. In addition the management of contract enforcement for example implementation of long term price agreements. * Act as a team-leader of cross-functional key account management teams within the Sensata Technologies organization. * Enables new business models and channels to market

Job Requirements

:
  • bachelors or masters degree level in engineering or business administration (tbwl or wirtschaftsingenieurwesen). * minimum 4-7 years experience in the automotive market, preferably in the brakes, adas or e-mobility (battery management, high voltage architectures) segments in a sales, marketing or business development function. * profound understanding of and ideally existing network to main system tiers in europe. * excellent communication skills, plus a high degree of self-motivation, self organization and determination. * a natural commercial attitude (ability to close a deal), a focus on contributing to the customer requirements and a drive to solve problems rather than report them. * commercial skills, negotiating skills customer orientation, presentation skills, understanding for future business potential. * native german and fluency in english is essential. * used to work towards tough commercial goals rather than daily micro-tasks. * willing to travel mainly within europe, occasionally overseas. * profound analytical skills and independent. * result oriented and self motivated * pro-active and entrepreneurial * team player * the account manager will provide dedicated and focused support to key customers at all levels and functions. * the account manager will own and deploy the customer specific strategy. * work closely with major automotive component and systems suppliers to identify and win new business opportunities through close cooperation with internal colleagues. * identification, assessment and closure of new business opportunities. * build and expand relationships with potential customers and seek to
