Located in the heart of Berlin, BASF Services Europe brings together an international team of around 2,000 colleagues, with over 50 different nationalities, working in our Finance, Controlling, HR and Procurement departments. The performance and expertise of over 200 of our BASF companies in the whole of Europe are collected together in our BASF Shared Service Center.

What you can expect

You will support our team with the application management for French BASF companies, which are coordinated centrally from our Shared Service Centre in Berlin.

• In this, you will learn the different steps in the recruiting process, from pre-selecting candidates and interview coordination to knowing how to conduct phone interviews, which you will conduct semi-independently.
• In addition, you will have the opportunity to take part in different projects, such as preparing and monitoring of internal candidate pools, as well as the chance to practically apply your theoretical knowledge.

What we expect

• You are a student in economics, psychology, social sciences, or a comparable programme, with electives in HR Management.
• You are looking for a 6-months internship during your studies and have gained ideally some practical experience in the area of recruitment or HR.
• You are looking to start your internship between February and May 2020.
• You are open, flexible and communicative, as well as accustomed to working both independently and as part of a team.
• You have very good knowledge of English and French. Knowledge of an additional language is a definite plus (e.g. Dutch, Italian, or Spanish).
• Experience and confidence in using MS-Office programmes would also help in this role.
