OMV GAS, a subsidiary of OMV Group, is supplying, shipping and trading natural gas in Europe. The German entity OMV Gas Marketing & Trading Deutschland GmbH started in 2016. It is responsible for supplying and marketing natural gas to the German energy market.
We are looking for a
Department Manager Key Account Management DE (f/m/d)
for our team in the South of Germany.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the Key Account Management South team
- Responsible for the future development of the target area
- Develop and lead the implementation and execution of the sales strategy as defined
- Relationship management with customers and stakeholders
- Develop sustainable internal and external business relationships
- Align the sales strategy process with the Managing Director as well as defining volumes & commercial targets
- Validate new business opportunities incl. proposal for development of new potentials: alternative sales channels/products based on predefined risk/return principles; proposal of changes of actual or future products, gas outlets based on market and competitor analysis
- Contribute to the market and competitor analysis, customer and target group selection as well as continuous market screening in terms of competition, regulation, product development, customers
- Meet company needs in terms of reporting, data management
- Responsible for the compliance with regulations governing working hours, rest periods, HSSE and maternity protection
Your profile:
- University degree (Master/Diploma)
- At least 8 – 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the energy sector
- Deep knowledge of the energy market, ability in interpreting complex phenomena and market trends
- Experience in leadership function in energy business
- Conflict management and willingness to accept responsibility
- Charismatic leader and outstanding team-player
- Passionate and high problem solving skills; proactive and able to transfer innovation and quality
- Goal and results oriented behavior to achieve targets on time
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; systematic way of working
- High flexibility and willingness to travel
- Highly motivated person with entrepreneurial skills, a creative mind with a great passion for growth
- Creative and innovative; able to create value added business; integrity and earning trust
