Sales Controller

As a Sales Controller (m/f/d) you will take on a wide range of tasks within our sales and controlling concept. It is necessary to have analytical skills optimally in stressful environment. With strong commitment, you support projects as a business consultant. With proactive and strategic vision you advice sales management regarding various key figure issues. You are responsible for the creation of sales planning and the forecast, as well as introduction, further development and optimization of controlling instruments and processes. The location of this position is Cologne, Germany.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analysis and calculation of forecasts and budgets
  • Generation of management reports and further development of existing controlling tools
  • Support as a financial Business Partner through strategic planning and participation in relevant projects.
  • Improve alignment of the company’s profitability expectations to market positioning of current and new businesses.
  • Elaboration and further development of a Pricing-Strategy for existing and new clients/prospects.
  • Drive financial as well as commercial rigor and enhance pricing and cost discipline.
  • Review and aim to improve the terms and conditions, risk profile and margin position of each opportunity.
  • Support Sales and Client Management with renegotiating conditions

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Successfully completed business studies or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Sales controlling.
  • Advanced MS Excel/Access skills required.
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) skills in German and English.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in ERP, especially Microsoft dynamic is a plus.
