Student Assistant / HIWI

Support of experimental laboratory work in a DFG-funded research project "Urban Water Interfaces" to analyse the microbial transformation of pollutants in rivers.

Tasks include:

• Cultivation of microorganisms
• Sampling as well as preparation and performance of chemical and proteomic analyses by LC-MS/MS

Additional programming tasks in Python can be provided upon request.

Your profile:

• Basic knowledge of microbiology and chemistry, especially laboratory work
• Reliable and independent way of working
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Interest in environmentally relevant research
• ideally first experience with LC-MS/MS
