Your responsibilities

• As part of the indirect sales channel, you provide expert knowledge and support for sales management, distributors and customers
• As a Sales Specialist (m/f/d) for the indirect sales team for LS, you are responsible for proposing strategic activities, together with sales management and the distributor, to drive the business sales development
• You are responsible for driving and delivering the agreed sales target through the distributor channel
• You provide high-end solutions support across the region (demonstrations, tenders, sales arguments, customer visits, applications)
• You create local ideas and content for successful promotions to be run with the distributor, agreed and facilitated by distributor sales management, to achieve desired objectives
• Your marketing plans will be employed by the distributors and incorporated into their sales activities, marketing campaigns, sales promotions and customer targeting activities
• You develop sales tools and techniques for the EMEA indirect sales distributors
• You are the key interface between the OEKG marketing and the responsible distributor providing specialist support for LS sales delivery

Your qualification

• You have successfully completed your Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or Engineering
• You have several years of professional experience in B2B sales/marketing and/or MS microscopy
• You have proven experience in identifying market potentials and transferring them into tactical sales and marketing activities to grow the business
• You understand market trends and requirements and you transfer them into operational sales/marketing activities
• You have a deep knowledge in high-end life sciences microscopy (confocal, 2-photon, live-cell imaging, super resolution)
• You have excellent communication skills and command of English – both written and spoken
• Your strengths include good analytical skills and a business management mindset
• Regular travel (approximately 50%) throughout the EMEA region is a requirement of this role
