Business Development Manager - Devices & Services Partnerships

Job spec:
The Hardware Partnerships team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top carriers, retailers and enterprise verticals, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product & engineering, finance and retail marketing teams internally, and with our carrier & retail counterparts across these disciplines.

As a Business Development / Partner Manager you will be responsible for supporting the team in selling in new products, negotiating purchase and promotion agreements, and managing sell-out performance. You will also partner closely with our Retail Marketing and Retail Operations teams to help executing channel marketing and merchandising plans to support sell-out targets.

Responsibilities:
Support in managing all aspects of the sales cycle including sell-in, contract negotiation, promotional planning, and sell-out (e.g. handle requests from partners, manage tools, keep track of timelines, provide necessary information to Partner Managers).

Sales pipeline management including new customer acquisition and end-to-end support of large B2B deals
Providing information to partners on key dates (shipments, volumes, pricing). Maintaining documents such as team meeting agendas, sell-out trackers, cost overviews etc.

Supporting in setting up and preparing for customer meetings, workshops and contract negotiations.
Providing templates for contracts and keeping track of contracts in systems.
Preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews, account planning, and yearly planning.
Skill/Experience/Education
2-5 years related sales management, partner management experience in an Internet, software platform, or consumer electronics company.
Project Management skills
Fluent in English
Analytical skills
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in consumer electronics / mobile industry
Experience in retail or B2B business development
Proven ability to plan and manage at operational level and successfully manage projects with retailers
