Internship Economics

Within the department Economics, Sustainability, and Public Affairs, team Economics supports the board of management in strategic decisions and offers group-wide services. The team elaborates positions on relevant topics and trends from the areas economics, politics, and society and analyses insurance market data.

The internship ideally begins on September 01, 2022, and lasts for six months.
Your job
  • Support the team in economic analyses (research, project work, publications, etc.)
  • Support the team in insurance market analyses (gather, analyse, and visualise insurance market data, forecast premium growth, etc.)
  • Own project: Research your own topic from various areas of interest, such as macroeconomics, economic policy or insurance markets
Your profile
  • Student of economics or related fields like econometrics (not business administration), preferably at Master’s level, with a solid understanding of macroeconomics and economic policy
  • Foundational statistical knowledge is a prerequisite, R, Python or Power BI skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools, particularly Excel® and PowerPoint®
  • Good command of English, German is a plus
