Life at Change

01

Embedding

DEI
Change.org has a mission to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture where every employee feels valued, connected, and inspired to contribute their best. We aim to enhance engagement through meaningful interactions, continuous development opportunities, and fostering a sense of community and belonging.

02

Bonding

& Traveling
Connecting is a non-negotiable, and we invest in onboarding retreats called Ready for Change that bring us closer and help us better understand ourselves, the business, and others. We also love our EOY parties and departmental get-togethers throughout the year.

03

Building

Community
There are four Community Resource Groups (CRGs)—API, Women/Nonbinary, Latinx, and LGBTQIA+—that hold regular meetings. Past CRG events have included panels, speaker series, cooking classes, happy hours, and all team call presentations.

04

Constantly

Communicating
We hear from leadership through monthly C Team reports, departmental Town Halls, and transparency updates on our All Team Calls.

Our Talent Philosophy

Step One: Resume Review
We review all candidates who apply, are referred, or are sourced. A resume isn’t the be-all-end-all; we prioritize skills and abilities that align with the needs of the role. We value your unique experiences, and strive to ensure a fair evaluation for each candidate.

Step Two: Structured Interview Process
All interviews, from initial screens to final discussions, are structured to ensure fairness. This means we outline our evaluation areas and questions in advance, ensuring every candidate is asked the same questions and assessed using the same rubric. Our interviews are in-depth and thorough, and we value candidates who demonstrate thoughtfulness and clarity in their responses. We also look for an understanding of our mission and product, along with the core capabilities needed for success in the role. After the final interview, we check a minimum of three references for all candidates.

Step Three: Offer
Once we reach the offer stage, we encourage you to check out our benefits and perks section for more detailed information on total compensation. We understand that accepting a new position is a big decision, and we want to make sure you have all the information you need. Please reach out to us with any questions – your comfort and confidence in making this decision are important to us!
