IT System Engineer / Architect (AAAS1) Munich, Germany

Responsibilities:

• Development and operation of BI / Big Data platforms with a focus on SAS & Hadoop
• Participation in the conception of architectures
• Installation and configuration of new systems both internally and with customers
• Operation of the applications (installation, configuration, monitoring)
• Preparation, testing and distribution of operational changes.
• 2nd / 3rd level support through troubleshooting and error analysis

Your skills:

• First or good experience in system administration with a focus on Linux / Java systems
• First or good operational knowledge in one or more areas such as web / application server, databases, system tools (monitoring, scripting, deployment)
• Knowledge and / or willingness to familiarise yourself with BI / Big Data technologies with a focus on SAS and Hadoop
• Conversational German skills are a must
