PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The IT Strategic Central Service team has an opening for an intern position. As part of SAP’s IT Services, the IT Strategic Central Service team provides end to end strategy support and has the responsibility to assist the CIO and IT management in all aspects of implementation and execution of strategic initiatives. This includes driving all cascading efforts of the organization’s strategic direction, based on SAP’s corporate goal of Best Intelligent Enterprise. The transformation of IT, communication, branding, organizational development and CIO office support are in focus of the team’s day to day activities. This intern position will primarily be involved in IT communication, marketing and internal event activities.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Support the transformation of SAP’s IT Services organization with more than 2,500 employees
Support of the IT Strategic Central Service team by moving the communication strategy into action.
Provide video production support
Provide graphic support
Provide event management support and take ownership for dedicated event formats
Provide research and project management support
Tasks will also include drafting content for emails, newsletter, blogs, news feeds, video scripts and presentations
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student
(f/m/d)
at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Marketing / Journalism / Business Informatics / Business Administration
Computer skills: MS Office, preferably SAP Jam, social media, graphic design tools
Language skills: EN, DE
Project Management experience
Soft skills: Team player, enthusiastic, open-minded, customer-oriented, communicative, self-driven, reliable
Others: Knowledge about latest trends in Information Technology and first experience with marketing, brand development, or putting communication strategies into actions are a plus.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe your experience and skills, and how you have proactively inserted yourself in tasks and projects. Additionally, please describe your foreign language proficiencies, and a add description of any computer programs / programming languages.

Previous work in a global IT organization, in management consulting, strategy development or a marketing and communication agency is beneficial.
