Telxius

was founded in 2016 as a telecommunication infrastructure company. There are two main areas of business currently in operation:
1. Subsea Cable business: Telxius manages 87,000 kilometers of high capacity fiber optic submarine cable including the two largest capacity systems in the world, MAREA and BRUSA.

2. Telecommunication Sites: Such as Towers or Rooftop Installations, which can facilitate Mobile base stations. We are operating this Infrastructure across Spain, Germany, Brazil, Peru, Chile and Argentina

From the initial takeover, Telxius has considerably grown its business and continues expanding its portfolio by building this infrastructure for the global telecommunication marketplace and providing the most advanced services based on them. Its Tower and Rooftop location base is an attractive asset for our Collocation customers, mobile operators, IOT installations and many other customers requiring high quality locations for their radio installations.

In Germany, Telxius is currently operating over 2,000 towers, in very attractive locations, maintained at the highest industry standards and open for the aforementioned customer base to be used. We are the only independent Tower company in the German market with shared ownership of an operator and investors. This condition provides us with stability, neutrality and a well trusted go-to market approach.

We are currently a small and agile team of experts, working still in the flexible mode of a start-up, but with the advantage of being supported by the large Telefonica Group organization. We have plenty of opportunities in front of us to grow our business in Germany, extending our services and capabilities according to our customers’ demands.

Responsibilities
We are looking for 2 Regional Coordinators for our different regions: Düsseldorf and Berlin, to join our growing team.
Liaise with Telefonica Radio Planners to allocate Colocation space
Assure timely inventory updates in all relevant systems
Capture forecast information and transform into budget requirements
Frequent inspection of complex Colocation rooftop locations
Monitor acquisition activities and assure check sheets are maintained and achieved
Interface to GU8 and other suppliers in all aspects related to Telxius facilities
Clarification and governance point
PO validation point
Frequent maintenance audit checks
Assure quality of sites in region
MNO and IOT Colocation projects support
Co-user support
Analytics and reporting across the Telxius infrastructure in Region
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or similar.
3-5 years of experience in the Telecommunication Infrastructure industry in the Real-estate or construction departments
Ability to travel to the different sites in the region
Experience with project management and communicating to stakeholders
Experience reporting budget and KPIs
Excellent in interpersonal relationships and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent in written and verbal communication.
Capable of self-management of their work from a goal / objective, without the need for constant guidance.
Proven experience in supplier contract management and project management with supplier resources.
Bilingual German-English. Spanish highly valuable
