Senior Structural Engineer, Bochum, Germany, 18 month contract

My client are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Bochum. This is on an 18 month contract.

Duties include:
Prepare structural design basis, structural design specifications, Perform global in-service analyses (in-place, dynamic, fatigue, seismic, pushover etc.), Perform pre-service analyses (loadout, transportation, launching, floatation & upending, lifting etc.), Perform local analyses and detailed design of offshore platform appurtenances and details.

Exposure to 

SACS 

and Offshore Structural design codes and standards.
Conversant with structural steel design and analysis, welding design, stiffened plate, shell finite element analysis and hydrodynamics loading using 

API,

 AISC, AWS, DNV, ABS and other applicable codes and standards.
