  • ensure new technologies and design processes are implemented into the creative teams, supporting the creators as a key strategic asset to the brand * execute on training and implementation plans for successful design operation within new and existing tools, keeping the teams across the brand at the leading edge of innovation * test solutions and establish design creation methods to share globally, leading the 3d design team to meet the brands goals and maintain leadership in the sporting goods industry key responsibilities:
leadership and innovation partner with leaders across the brand to * drive design process innovation within the business unit, ultimately helping positioning our brand as a technology and thought leader in the creative realm. * communicate innovative and complex technologies to inspire and lead the creative teams in the adoption of design methods and tools. * engage with creators across the organisation to support adidas in being recognized as the creator brand. * identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals and projects strategy and implementation * effective implementation of digital creation strategic goals, helping plan and deliver for designers across your business unit * empower and engage the creative community rolling out solutions with clarity, effectively on-boarding creative partners * drive effective methods for testing new technologies and processes helping provide fact-based feedback and requirements to it * collaborate with creative teams to ensure targeted results and community awareness * consult with cross-functional team members to ensure end-to-end benefits are achieved key relationships:

  • designers, 3d designers * project managers * digital creation and it4design * brand operations and marketing operations * factory development and virtualization teams * product creation technologies * external creative resources (agencies, freelancers, developers, etc) knowledge, skills and abilities :
  • highly knowledgeable about creative technologies * enjoy communicating with the creative teams * expert in modo or comparable 3d applications, including creating 3d modeling of product and advanced knowledge of rendering/lighting setup, color and shading. * expert in sketching and drawing methods * strong visual skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals * excellent verbal and written communication skills * ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, designers, and other employees of the organization * ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed * experience designing footwear and/or apparel product is a plus requisite education and experience / minimum qualifications:
