An exciting opportunity to become the subject matter expert for the electrical systems within my clients data center has arisen on a hi-tech construction project in Germany.

This opportunity to join this forward-thinking business has come about as they are building a brand-new, high-tech facility in Germany. You will be working alongside a wide range of technically minded designers, engineers, project and construction managers who will share your enthusiasm for technological turnkey solutions.

Role Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the coordination and checks of the electrical engineering during the design and construction of the project (This will include Medium and low voltage, UPS, emergency power, lightning protection, IT cabling, HV knowledge preferred, emerging technologies like Gens, Transformers). You will also be responsible for the following:

• You will develop and formulation, check of the technical requirements and establish project design criteria. Develop design guidelines and solutions, perform engineering assessments and analysis.
• You will play a key role in the areas of DCIM, IT/Telecom/Security, I&C, Start Up/Commissioning, integrating of mechanical and electrical engineering, cost benchmarking, knowledge development

About You:

• You will be an experienced electrical engineer with significant knowledge working within construction, working on electrical systems in multi-million-euro projects (at least 5+ years of experience within data center design and construction)
• You will have knowledge development of electrical discipline, evaluation of new systems, components and suppliers, knowledge distribution to the electrical engineers of the region
• You will have a strong understanding of Telecom, IT and Security systems and Electrical commissioning of at least one data center L1-5
• You will be fluent in German and English
