Mitsubishi Electric offers a variety of semiconductor and electronic devices that are contributing to the advancement of information-processing and telecommunications. We develop and manufacture power devices that provide higher operation stability and efficiency, next-generation optical devices that support today's rapidly evolving optical telecommunications networks, high-frequency devices that are utilized in everything from 5G networks to satellite communications and infrared sensors capable of advanced temperature detection.

Your tasks:

  • Monitoring and communicating Europe’s power semiconductors market-technology trends to Japan including competition analysis
  • Proactive proposals in form of product development requests to optimize product line up and next generation development by latest market/technology trends as well as definition of a roadmap
  • Identifying new market opportunities at existing and new customers, e. g. within an internal task-force-team
  • Design-in activities with dedicated customers and preparation of such with promotion tools, campaigns, sample management etc.
  • Technical service for customers and other activities such as publications, management of technical databases, handling of quality issues (PCN, RMA, Audit etc.), compliance checks (export controls, ISO etc.)
  • Product / technical trainings, e. g. for customers, distributors, trainees
  • Further technical marketing activities such as cooperation with ERC and analysis of CRM data

Your background:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and several years of power-electronics work experience as well as technical marketing. Expertise in related application areas such as eMobility is a plus
  • Knowledge of power conversion and inverter systems (motor control, automotive xEV powertrain, xEV accessories, charging) covering power ranges of a few kilowatts to hundreds of kilowatts
  • Knowledge of IGBT/SiC power devices performance & qualifications requirements
  • Self-driven proactive approach to customer oriented business development with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to lead and drive projects in an organized teamwork and systematic approach
  • Demonstrated time management skills to accomplish long-term assignments
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills in German and English language and willingness to frequently travel within Germany and Europe
