Working in close collaboration with a multinational team of IT Cluster, Country, and Site/Factory Managers, you will ensure the efficient provision of high-quality IS services to specific sites by assessing requirements, coordinating service delivery, and resolving issues as soon as they arise. Your responsibilities

• Team up with local business management as well as internal and third-party IT suppliers for the purpose of ensuring that all solutions are aligned with business needs, thereby contributing to improved efficiency, effectiveness, and operational functionality
• Coordinate on-time delivery of IT solution/service/support within given targets and budget, while maintaining effective interfaces between IT teams and partnering with stakeholders to ensure that IT service delivery meets all criteria in terms of quality, efficiency, and compliance
• Maintain close dialogue with Business Process Owners in order to map business process demand with regard to existing or new IT solutions, in addition to ensuring the implementation, management, and optimization of internal IT and cross-functional processes relating to IT service delivery or demand
• Act as control owner, depending on size and setup of local organization, oversee management of IT application/server master data, maintain IT contracts, and address issues relating to unlicensed or underlicensed software
• Provide input relating to incidents, changes, or projects with a potential impact on the department or IT as a whole, including (where required) coordination of major security incidents and support for mitigation programs
• Ensure that IT-related skills are developed and maintained within the department, taking into account defined IT goals and relevant standards, guidelines, and directives, in addition to contributing to PG IT strategy and setting targets for IT staff members

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in Business Informatics or Business Administration & Engineering with strong background in Computer Science
• 5+ years’ experience within a complex international IT environment, 3+ years’ experience in project management, and 5+ years’ experience in customer account management/relationship management
• Proven track record in stakeholder management with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels and units
• Good understanding of energy business in order to determine needs and coordinate between business and IT
• Well-developed time management and quantitative/analytical skills as well as the capacity to deliver first-class results even when faced with time constraints
• Knowledge of process and organizational/IT change management as well as experience relating to distributed teams and processes
• Solid communication skills, team spirit, and the ability to promote a culture of operational excellence
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, and willingness to travel on business assignments (20%)
