PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The IT Mergers and Acquisition Center of Excellence (M&A CoE) is part of the IT Business Insight &Technology area driving SAP internal strategic programs and IT integration of SAP acquisitions. The team powers SAP’s acquisition-based growth by delivering successful IT integrations. By putting business value and end-user experience in the center of all activities the IT M&A CoE delivers integration excellence. We are the trusted IT M&A experts for the acquisitions and SAP.

• Work in a highly motivated international team (located across US, Canada, Germany and India)

Manage and take responsibility for own defined tasks and projects
Get to know the area of IT M&A

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As intern of the IT M&A CoE you will support our team in managing the following tasks:

• Support daily tasks of IT M&A team members and IT Program Management

Help creating a certain level of transparency with internal tasks and processes within the IT M&A team
Support building of team internal knowledge platform
Standardize, update or create documentation of M&A processes, methods and templates
Plan, track, and schedule project timelines, meetings and milestones using appropriate tools
Data Management Support with running acquisitions
Cut-over & Testing Support for running acquisitions

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Currently enrolled Student (f/m/d) of a university or a university of applied sciences in a related field of study.

Preferred field(s) of study: Business Administration, Management, Business Information Technology, or adjacent disciplines. Previous internship experience is of advantage but not mandatory.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills. Fluent in both German and English.
Experience in working with Wiki pages is of advantage
Computer skills: Good skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams and Outlook
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
