Job description

position as part of Commercial Project Management (CPM) team, which is responsible for the project execution and all commercial and contractual aspects of the projects

based in Hamburg, Germany, reporting to Head of CPM Operations Mediterranean & Germany
focus on contract administration and management of contracts during the project execution phase (i.e. from contract signature until wind farm take over by customer) for selected large and / or turnkey projects with respect to both customer and sub-contractor contracts

involvement in the tender phase with Balance of Plant (BoP) sub-contractors (civil and electrical) including customisation of standard key terms for RfQs

customising of (standard) BoP sub-contracts according to the project specific requirements and support negotiations
providing and administraton of contract management tools / standard forms (site related, correspondence register, etc.) and support to the various project teams

raise contractual awareness across the project teams
be an active team member advising on contractual and / or claim issues and offering solutions
ad hoc contract analysis upon request
contributing to contractual lessons learned and feedback to other departments, such as Sales, Legal and Tender Management
 
 

Job requirements

 
minimum Bachelor’s degree in law or quantity surveying or other relevant degree in combination with experience in contract administration and management of international construction / plant projects

working knowledge in international standard forms of contracts
fluent in English and German language
strong communication skills and good intercultural awareness
comfortable with working in multinational matrix organization
willingness to travel to project sites or regional offices as required
