At Bayer you have the opportunity to be part of a culture where we value the passion of our employees to innovate and give them the power to change Teamlead Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Oncology (m/f/d) YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordination and management of a team of MSLs within the therapeutic area of Oncology and development of team members by performance management, process optimizing, best practice sharing, coaching and training * Development of a strategy and action plan for MSL activities as well as responsibility for associated budgets, including setting of priorities * Drive the development of medico-scientific concepts, communication materials and support of life cycle management and ensure adherence to compliance guidelines * Establishment of stable personal relationship with Thought Leaders as well as lead the implementation of the national/regional local Thought Leader strategy and engagement planning in alignment with medical plan * Contribution to internal understanding of specific Thought Leader interests, expertise and impact in the medical community at large * Drive support of local clinical operations personnel / medical advisors in ISS project tracking on request as well as management of interfaces with e. G. medical advisors, market access sales and marketing personnel as well as global functions as needed * Drive and lead Thought Leader Identification / profiling / segmentation as well as oversight and report of the competitive situation (Medical Insights) * Provision of high-quality scientific support to the marketing/sales organization about the respective market using a variety of tools as well as exchange and dissemination of scientific, educational, and research related information with Thought Leaders * Participation at / networking in scientific congresses and conventions, Expertise and interactions with medical societies * Organization and participation in advisory boards as well as leadership in coordination of scientific education activities for specific therapeutic area or product * Maintenance and expanding of high quality medical scientific knowledge as well as adherence to compliance guidelines WHO YOU ARE * University degree in natural sciences, pharmacology or medicine (Master and above desirable) * Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical environment in the respective therapeutic area, ideally in medical liaison management * Experienced in leading and developing teams and strong people skills with focus on communication and collaboration * Experience in project management and high level of strategic thinking and strong personal leadership skills * Successful interactions and excellent long-term relationships with Thought Leader, medical and pharmacy professions and depth Know-How of concepts of strategic interactions with Thought Leaders * Successful mentoring of and collaboration with team members, subordinates, scientists, marketing and other functions Experience in managing cross - functional teams * Ability to work effectively and well in teams and to prioritize work efficiently and to manage and track budgets o Assurance of proper training on internal processes and guidelines (SOPs) * Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Location:
