EMEA Category Manager - Raw Materials (394973/003) Berlin, Germany

A world renowned industrial manufacturing company are currently looking for an EMEA Category Manager focused on Raw Materials.
The position has been created to help assist with the high growth they accomplished last year and planned growth they have this year. The company currently have over 50,000 employees globally and presence in over 100 countries.

The role:
In control of creating a regional strategy for Raw Materials
Highlighting key suppliers and rolling out framework agreements
Functional management of 12 strategic buyers
Responsibility for understanding market trends and forecasting for any changes
In charge of delivering projects on time and within budget
Supporting regional projects and mitigating any supplier issues
Reporting into Head of Procurement for EMEA
 

Desired Skills/Experience:
At least 5 years experience in purchasing
Industrial experience or equivalent
Extensive experience within Steel and Zinc purchasing
English mandatory, additional languages an asset
Experience in managing or coordinating teams
We are looking for a professional with strong leadership capabilities who can manage a large, global supplier base with the talent to streamline operations without compromise of quality standards.
