Desktop Technician - EMEA

What to expect:
Responsible for performing maintenance of user devices so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests from all our EMEA countries. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual provide professional remote or in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.

Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Conduct research, basic analysis and follow standards to move, add, or change hardware or software.

Understand the fundamentals of setting up and maintaining user devices.
Provide technical Support
Perform debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving.
Establish and meet Service Level Agreements and project deliverables. Work with more senior team members to ensure stakeholders are informed and provided timely updates and resolutions.

Technical Design and Architecture, technical concepts, procedures and standards

What we are looking for:
Degree in Computer Science or Technology / Engineering (specialized in IT) or equivalent combination of completed vocational training and work experience in a helpdesk role.

One to three years’ experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, working with desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and scanners.

Very good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences (verbally and written).
Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German language. Other languages are a plus.
Strong ability to troubleshoot; good time management skills and profound problem solving skills
Ability to work on multiple priorities and in a very international environment.
A positive attitude, good teamwork, professionalism & interpersonal skills.
Willing and able to proactively seeking solutions and taking initiative.
