Internship - Software Development in Regensburg

We are looking for an intern (m/f/diverse) to start in september 2020 for a duration of at least 26 weeks to support the development of the automation software of engine test benches.

Your tasks will be:

• Conception and design of model-based controllers for use at engine test benches
• Development of innovative real-time capable combustion controllers with focus on controlling of lambda and exhaust gas temperature
• Coupling of the control unit models and software with the automation software
• Support of further development of components of our automation system
• Specification and carrying out of test cases to validate models both in simulation environment with help of real-time capable engine models and on engine test bench
• Evaluation and analysis of test cases and corresponding reporting of results
• Documentation of realized work
• Student (m/f/diverse) in the field of control engineering and automation techniques, mechanical engineering, informatics, physics or similar
• Profound Matlab/Simulink and general programming knowledge
• Confident in using the MS Office applications
• Knowledge in engine and test bench techniques desirable
• High level of German, as well as a good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• High operational readiness, flexibility, creativity and ability to work in a diverse environment
