Chemical Scientist

In addition to performing analyses for quality- and process control by
spectroscopy and chromatography
, you will support our R&D departments during the introduction of new products and processes. Your professional, personal and analytical competence will enable you to structure and perform your tasks independently. You are welcome to bring your previous experience and knowledge to the team when developing methods and techniques.

Your responsibility

• Method development: planning, control, research and validation in close cooperation with the R&D teams
• Statistical evaluation of analytical methods according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 or other requirements
• Analytical support and advice to sales departments in the areas of troubleshooting, product support and quality control
• Management and/or implementation of projects in the field of analytics
• Preparation of documentation and reports according to ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 17025
• Presentation of results both internally and externally
• Creation and maintenance of documents in the corresponding management system (SAP QM; DOXIS)
• Continuous improvement of the efficiency in lab

Your skills and competences

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or physics - Doctorate grade
• Several years of professional experience or doctorate in analytical chemistry
• Specialization in the field of instrumental analysis, in-depth knowledge of trace analysis, spectroscopy and chromatography

Several years of work experience in the industry

• SAP QM/PM knowledge desirable
• Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written, German desirable
• Analytical ability to think, ability to work in a team, communication skills, presentation skills, appropriate appearance, independence, ability to work under pressure, flexibility and service orientation
• Willingness to travel
