For our Product and Service Business we are currently hiring, permanent and in fulltime:
Director Product Management (m/f/d)
Location: Europe (preferably Germany)
The Director Product Management is accountable for developing and managing the product roadmaps through the whole process chain from New Product Specification to Market Launch, based on customer-, market- and strategy inputs. This includes overall global responsibility for Marketing, Product- and Technology Development as well as Product Customization and Support through a global Application Engineering function.

Responsibilities:
Develop the strategic direction of the Product Roadmaps in collaboration with relevant functions
Execute the Product Roadmap in the cost- and timeframe by providing leadership and direction to the product development teams for Hydraulic Valves, Cartridges, Pumps

Sets the standards/continuously improve engineering processes/tools and support the teams with engineering capacity planning, budgeting, cost/capacity monitoring

Develop markets and customers for new products in close collaboration with Sales
Make decisions on regional product modifications and customizations
Manage application engineering and technical sales support roles (level 2/3) globally
Foster networking with engineering teams in other IG sectors, across Moog and with external partners as needed and push Change management towards standardization and platform development

Management of geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams including active management of talent and overall team performance

Qualifications:
Master Degree in an Engineering discipline. Additional PhD or MBA desirable.
Broad postgraduate experience in a design or/and development role for motion control technologies
Background in Marketing and Business Development with frequent customer interactions
Exposure to modular design and platform development
Proven background with managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams in an international context and engineering resource- and capacity planning
Excellent people skills - able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
Drive business in a diverse environment in terms of geography, cultures, languages, and economies
Willingness to travel on a regular basis
