The Intralogistics organisation is responsible to establish, lead, support and develop logistics solutions for the various IKEA units that have a logistical and fulfilment component, including the development and innovation agenda of intralogistics at IKEA global. In practical terms, Intralogistics shall lead and educate in creating concepts, processes and solutions for IKEA Handling and Storage as well as to act as centre of expertise for all establishments of logistics units around the globe. The organisation is in strong lead towards a more mechanical and automated goods handling.

Job Description

As Test Leader for Intralogistics Solutions you will among other tasks:­­
  • Develop test concepts incl. detailed test plans and reports for software releases as well as development projects
  • Ensure good software quality by reviewing Test Management set-up at our external software vendors
  • Align timelines for test phases and ensure resources (testers as well as test environments)
  • Interact with IT Infrastructure responsibles to maintain and improve the test environments.­

Qualifications


About you:
  • You have an IT education (not necessarily university degree) and have worked already as a Test Manager for complex IT Solutions. So you have a solid knowledge of leading and steering tests, verification and validation activities.
  • You have experience with logistics software or a high interest to deeply learn logistical processes and how software is supporting those.
  • You have worked in big projects and deliver your part in time.
  • You are able to work with stakeholders and team members in other parts of the world.
  • The current standards, best practices, technologies and concepts within IT Test Management are familiar.
  • International travelling is fine for you and you strive for working in IKEA’s multicultural team.
