On behalf of one of our large Oil & Gas clients in Charleston West Virginia, Procom Services is looking for a .NET Developer for a fulltime perm role in Charleston West Virginia.
Start date target early May, will consider remote work initially but eventually will probably have to go onsite in Charleston West Virginia.
Top MUST Have Skills:.
- BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience of software development on MS Windows platforms required.
- 3 years systems integration experience on MS Windows platforms required.
- 3 years .Net experience required.
- 3 years relational database experience required. MS SQL Server (SQL and T-SQL)
Job Purpose
Analyzes technical challenges and issues as an individual and as a member of a team and participates in developing solutions to meet business objectives. Will take instructions from a team lead or manager and will work with other team members, other departments, and external resources to fulfill the related objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive)
- Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Responsible for all phases of the Software Development lifecycle including but not limited to Discovery, Analysis, Design, Build, Test, Deployment, Decommission.
- Must have ability to understand and follow technical instructions
- Must be able to solve technical problems, perform research, and make solution decisions with little or no assistance
- Must have ability to manage multiple streams of work and adjust work pipeline to meet critical deadlines
- Must be able to recognize technical issues that require escalation and communicate these effectively
- Must be able to adapt to the technical infrastructure, software tools, and methodologies utilized throughout the organization
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned;
- Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others; report workplace hazards, injuries, or illness immediately.
- Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.
- BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience of software development on MS Windows platforms required.
- 3 years systems integration experience on MS Windows platforms required.
- 3 years .Net experience required.
- 3 years relational database experience required. MS SQL Server (SQL and T-SQL) experience preferred.
- Experience with Document Management and Document Capture preferred.
- Cloud development and/or administration experience preferred.
- Capable of working simultaneously on multiple projects within a team environment.
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts.
- Strong organizational skills to be able to work efficiently and effective with others;
- Strong communication skills to be able to work efficiently and effective with others;
- Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others; to understand and interpret safety instructions; and to respond to inquiries;
- Valid Driver s license with the ability to meet the client s vehicle policy and the ability to travel as needed;
- Ability to understand and comply with the client s guidelines & expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
