:you understand a converter way beyond the circuit design and like to dive deep into sophisticated design aspects such as the impact of parasitics within a switching cell or a transformer field shaping that reduces the proximity effect in the windings. at the same time, you include the link to adjacent domains and to the system interactions as an important part of your work. * networked communication:
you contribute to a distributed network of researches within our corporate research and developers throughout all of our business units. * structured evaluation:
you conduct a detailed research on several of the following aspects:
circuit design, magnetics and filter design, control strategies and simulation methods for multi-objective optimization. qualifications * education:
phd in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics * personality:
flexible team player with excellent communication skills who is target-oriented and highly motivated to explore new solution paths * working practice:
self-organized, analytical thinking and shared responsibility for progress * experience and knowledge:
several years of work experience in a research team in the field of power electronics. good knowledge of converter topologies, the behavior of power semiconductors (including gan/sic), the design of commutation cells, the design of circuits and magnetics as well as modeling in matlab/simulink, pspice, plecs. experience in converter prototyping and profound knowledge of hardware-oriented programing (c++, vhdl) * languages:
