For our Marketing & Sales team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. In addition, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources and reduce emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose.You will lead the Marketing & Sales activities in the Power Grids business at global, regional, HUB and country level. You will define and implement sales and marketing strategies, while proactively leading, developing and coaching the Marketing & Sales team.
Your responsibilities
- Defining and implementing effective Marketing & Sales initiatives in alignment with global strategy
- Managing the Remote Terminal Units (RTU) marketing and sales action plans, to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Intersection for Market Input for product management and R&D for future product developments
- Establishing marketing and sales targets and ensuring their achievement through regular oversight and the definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
- Overseeing market and competitor analysis and market segment definition activities, ensuring the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and metrics
- Establishing strong customer relationships, gathering and utilizing feedback to continuously improve and maintain positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale
- Identifying new business opportunities with current and prospective customers as well as a clear strategy to convert them
- You will lead the sales support team and the sales team cross country
Your background
- Degree in electrical engineering or other technical studies successfully completed
- More than 5 years of professional experience in the area of channel management or sales of technical products working as a Marketing and Sales Manager
- Sound knowledge of Grid Automation products
- Experience in marketing, business development, account management and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products and service categories
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- International travelling will be required
- Fluent english language skills, German would be a plus
