A very innovative global Medical Device Manufacturer is currently seeking to hire a Risk Management and Safety Leader to join they’re growing team in Stuttgart. You will head up the Risk Management team within the Quality department.

 

Key responsibilities of the Risk Management and Safety Leader include:

• Leading the department's Risk Management / Complaints Handling
• Ensuring that products are in accordance with ISO14971
• Takeover of the function of the safety officer according to the Medical Device Act
• Responsible for maintaining and updating the risk management file
• Responsible for post-market surveillance
• Cooperation in the supervision of inspections and audits by authorities, supervisory bodies and customers

Key requirements of the Risk Management and Safety Leader

include:

• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the production or development side of the Medical Device industry.
• Good knowledge of European and especially German medical device law
• Direct involvement in Quality Management System (QMS) of a Medical Manufacturer.
• Good knowledge of the following standards and regulations: ISO14971 and 21 CFR 4 and 820
• Professional level of German and English
• University degree in Engineering or Sciences/Medical
