PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Globalization Services enables SAP’s global footprint by helping customers succeed in their local markets by providing legal compliance, multi-language capabilities, and delivering country local best practices for SAP solutions. The economy’s drive for globalization and digitalization goes hand in hand with an emphasis on local best practices and country requirements. This makes us one of the most instrumental teams of SAP’s transition to the cloud.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will develop and enhance a business-grade cloud application for the SME market and ensure that our customers can use our SME ERP suite across the world. We are planning to offer the solution in a range of additional countries in the coming years – and you will play a central role in fulfilling this challenging roadmap. An experienced colleague acting as your mentor will support you with the efficient acquisition of needed skills and techniques. Close cooperation with colleagues in the team will be an important part of your daily work.

Your daily tasks include the analysis of business requirements, designing the solution, improve the design in reviews and prototypes, implement, test and maintain the solution. All tasks will be executed in a team with colleagues and in close cooperation with other teams around the world.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

You shall have the ability to quickly acquire a thorough understanding in new areas of expertise, especially related to new business needs and technologies supported by a strong quality commitment and a self-motivating working style.

Required skills

Own a degree in business administration, computer science, math, or have a comparable qualification
Have experience in functional and object-oriented programming
Have a good understanding of ABAP or Java as a programming language
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Be fluent in communication in English and German
Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures

Preferred skills

Development Experience in cloud applications, like for example Cloud Foundry, MongoDB and RabbitMQ
First Experience in Developing Business Applications

WORK EXPERIENCE

First working experience, for example made during internships, is highly welcome.
