ABOUT THE TEAM A new fully digitized and integrated Business Suite - SAP S/4HANA - is a key pillar of SAP's strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers' digital transformation especially in the cloud as well as in on premise. The Application Development Unit S/4HANA Produce supports this strategy by developing plant centric core logistics applications in the areas of Inventory Management, Logistics Execution, Available-To-Promise, Production Planning and Quality Management. THE ROLE We are looking for a Developer Associate (f/m/d) who will be contributing to an application development team with focus on S/4HANA plant logistics and Logistics Execution (shipping and receiving apps). Within our development team, we practice agile methods and a trust-based working model. In your role, you'll use modern methods to secure excellent quality in development and maintenance of our software, which meets the highest Cloud standards. As a Developer Associate in the area of S/4HANA Logistics Execution/Shipping you contribute to all phases of our application development, which include:

• plan, implement and test functionality in your responsibility * work closely together with colleagues inside and outside of your team * create new concepts and designs together with product owners, designers, experts and software architects * move forward co-innovation with important global customers * support your team by taking over additional technical or organizational task when necessary ROLE REQUIREMENTS * Good bachelor or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business informatics, mathematics, engineering, physics or related field * Good programming skills of an object-oriented language, e. G. ABAP Objects, C#, Java, C++ or similar * Programming knowledge of an additional (script-) language, e. G. SQL, HTML5, JavaScript or similar * In addition to technical knowledge you should have excellent analytical and communication skills and be flexible and adaptable * Fluent Englisch and German language skills (verbal and written) * Programming knowledge in ABAP Objects or SAP UI5, experience with OData or SOAP is a plus * Process knowledge in logistics, e. G. production planning, production execution or materials management is beneficial WORK EXPERIENCE Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in software development (preferably ERP or S/4HANA) or a related area.
