Job Description Introduction Director of Programs (m/f/d) Aviation * Weßling * Permanent * Full-time 328 Support Services GmbH, based at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport near Munich, supervises the Dornier 328 aircraft fleet globally and is the type certificate holder for the aircraft model DORNIER 328-100/300. We are a development, manufacturing and maintenance organization renowned by international aviation authorities. Our services include the development, modification, licensing, maintenance, spare part production as well as a worldwide customer service and spare part supply for the Dornier 328 fleet. Creation and certification of modifications, repairs and the production of components and assemblies like VIP-furnishings for different aircraft models are also part of our daily business. Your Tasks The Director of Programs reports to the VP Programs and has two primary responsibilities:

1. Leading the successful execution of a major aircraft development program and 2. Implementing a sound Program Management Office (PMO). This role is central to the success of the business providing leadership and ability to influence business strategy and company direction. For program planning and execution, the Director of Programs is responsible for setting program strategy, vision and tactical direction by multifunctional team(s) and sub-contractors geographically dispersed worldwide. The Director of Programs establishes an executable baseline, generates an IMS/IMP (Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule), manages program risks and opportunities, sets milestones and monitors adherence to program master plans and schedules. The position will help to develop and then utilizes approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of program commitments. The Director of Programs supervises, integrates and leads the performance of the program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and functional organizations and reports regularly to senior leadership on program performance, forecasting and status at monthly program reviews. In addition to successfully leading the aircraft development program, the Director of Programs will oversee the implementation of a PMO to include the processes, tools and procedures required to plan, execute, track, monitor and manage current and future programs within the company. The PMO will establish sound guidance and methodologies that form the company's Program Management philosophy. Your Profile * Exceptional leadership and communications skills * B. S in Engineering, Science or Mathematics or equivalent * 14 + years of relevant Program/Project Management experience, preferably extensive experience leading the successful planning and execution of major aircraft design, development, test and certification programs * Demonstrated experience in managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs >$100M in budget * Experience managing innovative solutions to technical problems * Experience in building and leading a multi-disciplined team including members from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements * Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience implementing, EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, and IMP/IMS tools and processes * Successful demonstration of preparing, managing and presenting required Gate reviews to leadership * International Program Management and/or Capture Management experience * Strong communication skills both written and oral * Ability to travel domestic and international on average 25% of the time * Experience with growing the business, e. G., capture, proposal management, shaping campaigns;
