Operations Lead, Car Dealer & Supply - Online Buying (d/f/m)
About the team:
You will be joining our Online Car Buying business unit where we strive to ensure that every consumer can realize their individual mobility change online with confidence and trust. As part of this creative and agile business unit, we together have the opportunity to drive mobile.de's strategic ambition to extend its footprint and help consumers and dealers to trade cars fully online!What you’ll do:
- You are responsible to bring a great selection of car listings from our partner dealer to our Online Car Buying service, allowing car buyers to select from a abundance of supply
- Define, set-up and iterate the onboarding of dealers to the online car buying service together with sales and product teams
- Manage our dealer & supply operations team and drive performance
- Continuous optimization of processes concerning dealer and inventory management
- Monitor and ensure our inventory of cars is growing in line with our strategy and matching the needs of our customers
- Be responsible for the daily operations with our dealerships along the defined SLAs for the Online Car Buying service
- Establish guidelines for collaboration and communication between different operations teams
- Be a sparring partner for improvements to mobile.de’s dealer tool set, identify opportunities by understanding dealers’ needs and collaborate with other internal teams to develop solutions that fit to those needs
Who you are:
- University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering (or comparable degree in a related field of study) and relevant years of working experience in a fast-moving (automotive) company, startup, consulting or investment firm
- Experience in driving operational processes in tech companies, automotive industry or consulting, ideally in cross-functional teams or/and projects
- Dealership and digital retailing experience is a plus
- A strong business sense, a hands-on problem solving mentality and always see the opportunity and not the problem
- Passion about moving tasks forward, take full ownership of projects and leadership skills that inspire the people you work with to drive opportunities forward with full force
- Good communicator with strong oral and written communication skills both in English and German
