YOUR TEAM
Our team for Software Engineering Solutions provides processes, methods and tools (PMT) to our CARIAD internal customers working on the next big things in automotive. The team bundles competencies necessary for the development of proprietary tools for AI frameworks, cloud-based services, code centric development, model-based software development, domain specific language (DSL) driven tools and many more. We are looking for a candidate to reinforce our DSL developer team using JetBrains MPS. Your application area will focus on the development of a tool to specify test cases in a human- and machine-readable way enabling a fast and convenient test specification, implementation and execution for different test levels. Nevertheless, you will have the chance to get into lots of other interesting topics.WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop processes, methods and tools to support the automotive (software) development
- Contribute to a test specification tool using JetBrains MPS Technology (e.g. mbeddr, iets3)
- Develop domain specific languages for testing
- Support the process from test specification over test implementation to test execution
- Design, implement and review code
- Support in developing the tool chain from an architecture specification until the propagation to the user
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled master´s student in computer science, physics, engineering or a related subject with experience in software development
- Hands-on expertise in the programming language Java and source code management
- Communication skills in regard to the interaction with our external engineering services and internal stakeholders
- Experience in the design and implementation of domain specific languages preferably with JetBrains MPS (or Eclipse, Xtext) is a plus
- Strong analytical understanding, ability to work in a team, above-average commitment and flexibility, structured and independent work
- Strong English and German language skills (both oral and written)
