Junior Security Analyst
The Junior Security Analyst is an integral part of the Information Security team and will help enable the company to operate a secure environment, so that all cleverbridge assets (products, platforms and data) can be built, operated and maintained in a secure manner with regards to the three security pillars (confidentiality, integrity and availability) as well as in accordance to overall company strategy.
The Security Analyst is a member of the Compliance & Information Security department, reporting to the Director Information Security. The position is located in Cologne (Köln).
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the Information Security department in implementing and delivering cleverbridge’s information security program
- Supports the Information Security department in daily operations and initiatives to ensure that cleverbridge and the cleverbridge Financial Services GmbH meets information regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, ISAE 3402, ZAG, BAIT, EBA Guidelines)
- Supports the Director of Information Security with the cleverbridge information security risk management
- Consult other departments to build and operate a secure architecture and support other colleagues and departments of cleverbridge AG and the cleverbridge Financial Services GmbH on information security related topics
- Help to protect and improve cleverbridge’s platform against cybersecurity threats
- Assist the Compliance & Information Security department with writing, reviewing and updating security related policies for cleverbridge and the cleverbridge Financial Services GmbH
- Create education and awareness programs and advise operating units at all levels on security issues, best practices, and vulnerabilities.
- Assist the Director of Information Security with planning, conducting and analyzing internal and external penetration tests
- Conduct internal network and application security scans
- Assist the Compliance & Information Security department in security related incidents (part of the incident response team)
Your Qualifications and Skills
- After your college degree in IT/InfoSec (or similar degree) with qualifications in InfoSec, you gained at least 2 years of experience in the InfoSec field. Ideally, this includes experience in the banking/BaFin industry
- From a technological point of view, you have a
- good background and understanding in the field of information regulatory compliance topics (like PCI-DSS, ISAE3402) of a BaFin-regulated company/institute
- background in security specific systems (Firewalls, Proxies, WAFs, Network devices) and basic knowledge in common security analytic tools (Metasploit, OpenVAS, Acunetix, Burp Suite)
- good knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, BSD) as well as network technologies and protocols
- basic understanding of various programming languages for code reviews (C#/.NET, JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, PHP)
- good knowledge of at least one script language (Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell)
- preferably basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
- You bring strong analytical skills and good experience in troubleshooting of IT/InfoSec related problems, combined with a creative mind with the urge to deliver quality
- You have a good knowledge in English language (written and spoken), good German language skills are a plus
