Job Description We are currently seeking a (JUNIOR) DESK EXPEDITOR - WHAT WILL YOU DO? You will be responsible for performing the following tasks against high quality standards:

  • Follow-up on the order related to your assigned queue on daily basis * Work with vendors to determine a reasonable rate and to coordinate the timing and means of delivery * Handle any related to vendor service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays * Find solutions to budget limitations, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise * Work with various departments to determine the amount and type of goods required * Keep an inventory of goods on hand * Track orders from placement through delivery * Ensure that the appropriate goods are transferred to each department in a timely manner - * Update administration per order to properly follow-up - WHAT DO YOU NEED? * You are in possession of at least an associate or bachelor degree in business or a related field;
  • You have solid mathematical, negotiating and administration (Excel/SAP) skills, some experience in a coordinated or delivery business;
  • You have excellent English communication skills in writing and spoken;
interpersonal skills that enable you to work constructively with different departments and personalities;
  • You have at least 1 year experience related to scheduling and planning, coordination or project management;
  • You live in the area of The Hague or at good travel distance;
