Urgent Infrastructure Architect OR Engineer German speaking Remote and Onsite Job based in Mannheim. German speaking is needed. Rates are good.
Main areas of activity:
- Transition of the customer's IT system landscape into the data center of the IT service provider including transfer / assumption of operational responsibility
- Concept development and implementation of the target data center, server and storage infrastructure
- Planning and construction of the necessary technical resources for the start of system operation
- Implementation of the migration
Qualifications and experiences:
Very good knowledge of DC operation and technology in the areas:
- Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
- Linux (Red Hat / CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES)
- VMWare vSpere / ESXi
- Xen / Citrix
- Hyper-V
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server
