Job Description Introduction Program Manager (m/f/d) Aviation * Weßling * Permanent * Full-time 328 Support Services GmbH, based at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport near Munich, supervises the Dornier 328 aircraft fleet globally and is the type certificate holder for the aircraft model DORNIER 328-100/300. We are a development, manufacturing and maintenance organization renowned by international aviation authorities. Our services include the development, modification, licensing, maintenance, spare part production as well as a worldwide customer service and spare part supply for the Dornier 328 fleet. Creation and certification of modifications, repairs and the production of components and assemblies like VIP-furnishings for different aircraft models are also part of our daily business. Your Tasks * Overall leadership, direction and guidance of all facets of your assigned programs, projects and/or control accounts * Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of your teams to ensure successful program execution * Develop and monitor program baselines and performance, risk, opportunities, cost & schedule * Define, secure, organize and direct staff, resources, standards, processes, procedures and tools essential for the successful completion of a program. * Provide sound leadership and team-building to motivate, influence and effectively apply the program staff * Develop good internal/external communication systems * Ensure that program requirements, purposes, objectives, and expectations are communicated and flowed-down to the internal team and subcontractors * Resolve conflicts, demands and priorities on assigned programs * Work unplanned program issues to a best solution, including development of plans-forward, escalation and increased resources, as required * Effectively communicate program status to leadership * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with engineering, operations, contracts, subcontracts, finance, security, staffing, and procurement * For supplier program management, responsibilities will focus on managing the cost, schedule and technical performance of key vendors * Perform other duties as necessary Your Profile * The ideal candidate will possess superior leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff, peers, suppliers and leadership within the organization * B. S in Engineering, Science or Mathematics or equivalent with 5-10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience * Demonstrated track record of successfully leading engineering, development, test and certification projects >$15M * Experience managing innovative solutions to technical problems * Experience in building and leading a multi-disciplined team including members from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements * Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience implementing, EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, and IMS tools and processes (Microsoft Project is a plus) * Successful demonstration of preparing, managing and presenting required Gate reviews to leadership * Strong written and oral communication skills * Supplier program manager roles additionally require experience successfully managing vendors - generating SOWs, evaluating proposals, performing source selections, evaluating and leading the cost, schedule and technical performance of suppliers What we offer * A permanent employment contract with flexible working hours and 30 days of vacation a year, subsidized lunch at our canteen, group accident insurance, capital-forming benefits. * A working environment with flat hierarchies and the possibility to take on responsibility with enough room to grow and help us to shape our processes. * Free parking and easy access to the public transport system - we are directly located at the A96 * Become part of our team and work with us on a high-tech product
